Peng Chen Liang

Originally born in Yunnan province of the People’s Republic of China, Peng joined the Ukraine International Legion in 2024 and was KIA later that year at the age of 29. Driven by his opposition of authoritarianism, Peng left the PRC after being detained by the CCP in China for his anti-Russian and anti-CCP posts on Twitter/X.

Verifiably, Peng is the only Chinese national to have been KIA fighting for the Ukrainian side against the Russian invasion.
